The Plešivec ( German Pleßberg ) is one of over 1000 meters high mountains of the Erzgebirge on the territory of the Czech Republic.
Location
The Pleßberg located southeast of Abertamy ( Abertham ) the distinctive steep drop of the Ore Mountains down to the Egertal. West of the mountain is the valley of the Bystřice ( Wistritz ).
History
With the construction of Abert Hamer Aussichtswarte Easter 1895 was initiated by the Association of Friends of Nature and in the same year the topping out ceremony was held. In the decades that followed were several additions.
Finally, the observation deck was raised to Ascension 2003 a piece in order to provide a better panoramic view. Until shortly after the end of the Second World War, there were on the top of a Jahn memorial stone, which as such still exists, but not more reminiscent of Jahn.

Origin of the name
For the derivation of the German name, there are several variants. The Middle High German word simply means something like naked, so unbewaldeter a mountain or a mere hilltop. The Czech name was derived from the German name.

Routes to the summit
- From Bozi Dar ( Gottesgab ) on the Anton -Günther - way, first marked in red past the Božídarský Špičák ( God Gaber Spitzberg ), then the yellow marker to the peak following (approx. 12 km).
- From Pernink station on the railway Carlsbad Johann George town on the highway in Wistritztal down to Pstruží ( Salmthal ). Turn left in the village and up through the romantic fashion basic to Abertamy. Here the green marked Anton -Günther - way up to the top of the hill (about 10 km).
