Pleumeur-Bodou

Pleumeur -Bodou ( Breton Pleuveur - bodou ) is a commune with 4028 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Côtes- d'Armor in the Brittany region. It belongs administratively to the district Lannion and Perros-Guirec to Canton.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the Atlantic coast, which is called in this section Côte de Granit Rose, about eight kilometers northwest of Lannion. The municipal area and the coast is among the offshore island of Ile Grande. The place Pleurmeur -Bodou itself is about three kilometers away from the coast, coastal villages of the municipality are Penvern, Kervégan, Kerénoc and Landrellec.
