Pleurogrammus is a genus of fish from the group of relatives Gropp ( Cottales ). The two species of the genus live in the northern Pacific from the Pacific coast of Siberia and the Sea of ​​Okhotsk on Japan, the Kuril Islands, the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands to Alaska and rarely come also to the southern California before.

Features

Pleurogrammus species are elongated fish. You can reach a length of 56-62 cm. The top of the head is marked by strong bony ridges. The head is partially scaly.
