Plougasnou

Plougasnou ( Plouganoù Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north with 3159 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located on the Atlantic coast on the English Channel. Morlaix is located 13 kilometers (km ) south, Brest 60 km southwest Paris and about 450 km to the east.

Infrastructure

In Morlaix is the next exit on the highway E 50 (Brest - Rennes) and a regional train station in the predominantly parallel railway line. Close to the capital cities of Brest and Rennes are regional airports.

Tourism

Plougasnou is a good tourist of developed swimming and resort with some pre-historic monuments such as dolmens two and a menhir.
