Plouvorn

Plouvorn ( Plouvorn Breton ) is a commune with 2794 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the west of Brittany in the département of Finistère. It belongs to the Communauté de communes Local Government Association du Pays de Landivisiau.

Geography

The municipality is located in northern Brittany, 12 km south of the Atlantic coast. Morlaix is 15 kilometers to the east, the major city and port of Brest 38 km south-west of Paris and about 470 kilometers east (in straight line ). The municipality is crossed by river horn.

Infrastructure

In Landivisiau and Morlaix, there are departures on the European road 50 (Brest - Rennes) and regional stations in the predominantly parallel railway line. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris. The Aéroport de Brest Bretagne Airport near Brest is the nearest regional airport.
