Reception

" A great view of the promises, the problems and the ethical aspects of robotics. A wonderful conversation piece and a refreshingly open and unbiased observation of scientists who debate and do their work. "

" About this cultural studies reading addition, leaving Plug & Pray ' but a fairly conventional documentation that does not develop any independent theses. The material shown is indeed extensive, an escalation of the Kurzweil / Weizenbaum dialectic addition is this pluralism but rather in the way. "

" The number of science fiction films, in which the existence or the artificial creation of human-like creatures, intelligent machines or even a people is identified, has assumed enormous proportions. What has brought us director and Grimme prize winner Jens Schanze with its documentation, Plug & Pray ' in theaters, but is closer than any fictional examination of the subject and is, surprisingly, more critical than it ever was Hollywood or could be. "
