In 2002, she took on her first album Full åpning, but like the album På vei til number two country Harry! another five years later left no great impression. The breakthrough came with a different line: Singer and bassist Tommy Blokhus Erik Elstad had remained and hatred Rønningen as a drummer and as a supplement Glenn Hauger with flute and accordion instead of a keyboardist they had repositioned itself. The third album Råkk'n Rall Harry and especially the song Møkkamann with the distinctive flute brought success. In summer 2011, the album ranked number 11 and the song reached the top ten of the Norwegian charts.

The end of 2011 it was announced that Plumbo will compete for the Euro Vision Song Contest in the preliminary round. On 14 January 2012, the song was chosen at Møkkamann Spellemannprisen for song of the year. At the award ceremony singer Erik Blokhus made an unfortunate remark about mocha men to the dark-skinned fellow competitors Madcon, for which he had to apologize afterwards several times. Then their disqualification for the Melodi Grand Prix was called, but they were allowed to compete and were traded as favorite. End of January, they won their first round. In addition, their song returned to the charts Møkkamann back and even made the jump to the top, it was awarded double platinum.
