Plymouth (Software)

Plymouth is a boot splash, the Red Hat 2008 is designed for the Linux distribution Fedora. Since the version of Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10:04 Plymouth is also used for the boot of Ubuntu. OpenSUSE used Plymouth since version 12.2. Plymouth starts at an early stage in the boot process, before mounting file systems, and provides during the next boot process graphic animation.
