Po' Girl

Po ' Girl is a Canadian band from Vancouver. The band name is a short form for " Poor Girl ", translated " poor girl ".

The group is assigned to the Alternative Country and Folk depending on the source.

History

The band was founded in 2002 by Alison Russell and Trish Klein, by frequent changes in the cast has gradually emerged after the current cast, which is supplemented for tours yet to diverse live music. Singer Alison Russell is also a founding member of the folk duo " Salt " (Later in "Sofia" renamed ) founded by the former member Trish Klein after her exit the country band " Be Good Tanyas ".
