Počaply (Příbram District)

Počaply ( German Potschapl ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers southeast of Březnice and belongs to Příbram.

Geography

Počaply is located in the Central Bohemian hills on the lower reaches of the creek Mlýnský creek, which is dammed at the northern end of the village before flowing into the Vlčava in the pond Počapelský fishpond. Against the southwest lies the pond Mlýnský Drahenicky rybnik, northwest of the Holubovský fishpond.

Through the village leads the state road I/19 between Březnice and Miro Vice. In the north and east Počaply is bypassed by the railway line Protivín - Zdice. To the north rises the Šance (512 m), to the east the Rampaška (516 m ) south of the Čihadlo (515 m) and the hora ( 500 m) and in the northwest of the Straz (535 m) and the Tejnice (472 m).

Neighboring towns are Počapelský Mlýn and boron in the north, Dobra Voda, Strážiště, Na Drahách and Na Pazdernách in the northeast, Lhotka, Ohar and Boješice in the east, Myslín, Miro Vice and Plíškovice the southeast, Holý Vrch, Sochovice, Ráztely and Drahenicky in the south, Drahenicky Mlýn, Drahenice, Račany, Simínský Mlýn, Koupě and Hudčice the southwest, Marti Nice to the west and Bubovice, Březnice and Zámecký okres in the northwest.

History

On the hill above the confluence of Šance Mlýnský creek and Vlčava was in the early Middle Ages, Slavic Bolzano, which formed the center of the area Bozeňsko.

The first written mention of belonging to the reign Březnice Court Pozapl took place in 1380 in connection with a Jadocus de Pozapl. Other forms of the name were Poczapl ( 1383 ), Poczap (1400) and Poczaplijch ( 1544). The village Lhotka one mile east of Počaply location went out at the beginning of the 16th century and was mentioned 1531-1595 as a desolate village, later built on its corridors of the same name Grange. The mill Počapelský Mlýn below the village was built in 1543 and belonged to the estate Miro Vice. Počaply consisted in 1586 of nine farmers and eight Chalupnern. In 1629, there were 22 Počaply property, a Kretscham and a desert mill. In the Berni rula 1654 four long-established farmers, a neubesiedelte and three corrupt economies and twelve cottagers are reported for Počaply who were submissive after all Březnice. In addition, there was still the courtyard, which was under the Office Drahenice. With the introduction of house numbers in 1770, 34 houses were counted in Počaply. 1790, the village was called Pocžaple.

In 1840 there was Podčap, also called Kotzab, from 41 houses with 267 inhabitants. In the village there was a emphyteutisches inn and a emphyteutische mill. Offsides were the Grange Lhotka and the forester's house Kahlenberg ( Holý Vrch ). A peasant economy belonged to Allodialherrschaft Drahenitz. Vicarage was Breznitz. Until the mid- 19th century the village to Allodialherrschaft Breznitz remained submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Podčaply / Podczapl formed in 1850 a municipality in the district administration and the district of the court Breznitz. Since 1868 Podčaply belonged to the district Blatná. In 1890, living in the 43 houses of the village of 279 people. Today's local name Počaply is used since the early 20th century. 1914, the village had 270 inhabitants, in 1921 there were 290, and the Census of 1930 235 people lived in the village. In the wake of the repeal of the Okres Blatná Počaply in 1960 associated with the Příbram, at the same time was the Vice My Dung of the village Strážiště of Myslín after Počaply. On 1 January 1976 Počaply and Strážiště were incorporated to Březnice. On November 24, 1990, both places broke again from Březnice and formed the community Počaply. In 2011 lived in 45 houses in the community 102 people. Since 2012, the municipality performs a coat of arms and banners.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Počaply Počaply ( Potschapl ) and Strážiště ( Straschischt ) and the monolayer Počapelský Mlýn, Na Drahách, Lhota, Holý Vrch ( Kahlenberg ) and Na Pazdernách.

Attractions

  • Church of St John the Baptist in Strážiště, built in the 14th century. In the church is the family tomb of Wrabsky Wraby.
  • Šance hill with remains of Slavic castle Bolzano and a hillfort, he is regarded as archaölogische archaeological site. Visible are ramparts.
