The stadium pod Goricom (Cyrillic Стадион под Горицом ) is a football stadium in the Montenegrin capital Podgorica ( 1946-1992 Titograd ). It is owned by the city and full name Gradski Stadion pod Goricom means ( German Municipal Stadium below the hill ). The stadium is the largest arena of the country. Currently it offers on its four ranks of 17,000 seats. The main users of the stadium is the FK Budućnost Podgorica.

History

The beginnings of the stadium go back to the time of the Second World War. At the time, created a scale of Italian soldiers soccer field on which these games were played by Millitärmannschaften. After World War II the stadium pod Goricom was built in 1945 and FK Budućnost Podgorica found a new home. In 1954 a fire destroyed the stadium. In the reconstruction wood ranks have been built on the long side of the east and west and a clubhouse. After Budućnost Titograd 1963 descended from the first Yugoslav football league, the venue for the 1975 return of the club was renovated in the House of Lords.
