Poetry Society of America

The Poetry Society of America is an American literary society. It was in 1910 in New York by poets, literary scholars and publishers founded with the aim to promote the development and understanding of poetry.

To this end, awarded by the Society scholarships, hosts events and awards literary prizes.

Poetry in Motion

In collaboration with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Poetry Society of America since 1992 placed poetry in public transportation in the country. From the Poetry in Motion program referred to several publications emerged.
