Pol Cruchten
Pol Cruchten ( born July 30, 1963 in Pétange ) is a Luxembourgian film director, screenwriter and producer.
Pol Cruchten was always an avid cinephile. In 1978 he helped found the Ciné- Club des Jeunes de la Ville de Luxembourg.
He attended the Ecole Supérieure d' Etudes cinématographiques (ESEC ) in Paris, and studied directing. He then worked for several newspapers and radio stations as a film correspondent. In 1990 he worked mainly for video compression, for which he also shot the film Hochzäitsnuecht.
In 2001 Cruchten could fulfill his dream, to shoot the film Boys on the Run with Ron Perlman in a leading role in the United States.
