Police Tactical Unit (Hong Kong)

The Police Tactical Unit (PTU ,警察 机动 部队) is a special police unit in Hong Kong. There are six districts with a total of 1,020 police officers in Hong Kong. Each district is divided under the direction of a superintendent between four other police units. To each one of these police units include 32 policemen, headed by a Inspector or Senior Inspector. These 32 police officers are placed again under the leadership of eight sergeants. So at the end of the chain of eight teams of four members, who are then divided for certain roads to walk there patrol. The PTU assumes all tasks which also has the police.
