Political Group of Okinawa Revolution

The Sozo (Japanese政党 そうぞう, Seito Sozo; engl. Political group of OKINAWA revolution ) is a regionalist party in Japan. It represents the interests of Okinawa.

The Sozo was founded in 2005 by former LDP members Mikio Shimoji with members of the local assemblies in Okinawa after he regained his seat in the election in Shūgiin. There he formed a joint parliamentary group with the New People's Party. 2008 Shimoji left the Sozo and joined the New People's Party.
