Polná (Hazlov)

Polná ( German Hirschfeld ) is a district of the municipality Hazlov in Okres Cheb in the Czech Republic. 2001, the site had 45 inhabitants.

Geography

A half mile north of the municipality is the neighboring village Lipná (Lindau ). To the east, you reach two kilometers to the capital Hazlov. Equidistant which is located southeast of Polná Hazlover quarter Táborská ( Seichenreuth ). One kilometer south-west of Hirschfeld is again another part of the community Hazlov achieve, namely Podílná ( German Halbgebäu ). To the west to dense forest stretches where is the line between the Czech Republic and Germany.

History

Since 1850, Polná has a dwindling population. From 1850 to 1930 the total population of 587 was reduced to 524 inhabitants. After the expulsion of the Sudeten Germans, there were only 117 people who inhabited this place. Whether the number of residents already increased in 1961 to 139 people, there were nine years later, 101 In 1991 the village had 54 inhabitants, the Census of 2001 living in the 20 houses of Polná 45 people.
