Polybius (crater)

Polybius is an impact crater on the Moon's front west of the Mare Nectaris, southwest of the crater Beaumont and east of Fermat, east of the Rupes Altai. The crater is eroded, the crater floor is relatively flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Greek historian Polybius.
