The sickle - Angelfish ( Pomacanthus maculosus ) or Angelfish is a species of the genus Pomacanthus from the family of angelfish ( Pomacanthidae ). They are 50 inches long.

Dissemination

He lives around the Arabian Peninsula in the Red Sea to the Persian Gulf, in the northeastern Indian Ocean to East Africa. Sickle angelfish usually live alone. They prefer coral- rich regions.

Nutrition

Sickle angelfish feed on sponges, sea squirts, bryozoans and algae.

Sickle angelfish behave divers over very tame and approach without fear to within a meter. In the Gulf states, they are caught as food fish.
