The Pont de Normandie is a cable-stayed bridge, which has the largest span in Europe with 856 m. They crossed the Seine estuary and connects Le Havre ( Haute -Normandie ) on the right bank in the north with Honfleur ( Basse -Normandie ) on the left bank in the south. The bridge was built in the years 1988-1994 and inaugurated on 20 January 1995.
