Pont Marie (Paris Métro)

Pont Marie is an underground station of the Paris Métro. It is located below the Quai de l' Hôtel de Ville in the 4th arrondissement of Paris and is served by the Métro line 7. The name derives from the nearby eponymous bridge. In the immediate vicinity is the Ile Saint- Louis, which can be reached via the same bridge.

The station was taken on April 16, 1926 in operation, as the portion of the line 7 from the station Palais Royal ( Royal Palace today - Musée du Louvre ) was opened to the station Pont Marie. Until June 3, 1930, she was the southernmost terminus of line 7
