The Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (Spanish: Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, in short: PUCE ) is a private comprehensive university in sponsorship of the Jesuits in Ecuador. Your Grand Chancellor is the Archbishop of Quito, Raúl Eduardo Vela Chiriboga, the rector of the Jesuit 's Corrales Manuel Pascual. She has offices in Quito, Ibarra, Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Ambato, Esmeraldas and Manabí, to 1990 in Cuenca. These seats are in the Sistema Nacional Universitario Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador ( SINAPUCE ) ( dt: National -university system of the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador) summarized and represented by them. Headquartered in Quito.

The PUCE was founded in 1946 in the center of Quito and gradually expanded until it housed the main subject areas. It has faculties of:

The PUCE houses a number of institutes and research facilities and are a variety of scientific journals out. At the PUCE a cultural center is affiliated with changing exhibitions, concerts and lectures.
