Pope Avilius of Alexandria

Avilius ( in the West Abilius; † 95) was in the 83-95 years (other sources: 84-98 ) Bishop of Alexandria and the third holder of the office of Mark the Evangelist and Anianus. His term falls in the reign of the Emperor Domitian. The Coptic Church commemorates its on the first day of the month Thout (September / October).
