Popteen

Popteen (Japaneseポップ ティーン, Poppu TIN ) is a -monthly, japanese fashion magazine Haruki Kadokawa the Coorperation, which is mainly attributable to the Gyaru style (see Kogyaru ). The first issue was published on 1 October 1980, at Kadokawa Shoten. The publisher Asuka Shisha bought the magazine later for 200 million yen. From 1994 it appeared at the ' Kadokawa Haruki Coorperation, which took it for 600 million yen. Popteen was the best-known publication. The popteen is one of the most popular fashion magazines in Asia, but is sold only in Japan. Artists who have appeared on the cover, are for example: Kumi Koda, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Namie Amuro, Fergie, Ayumi Hamasaki and Kumiko Funayama.

The magazine is one of the magazines, the " docu -mo " (読者 モデル, Dokusha moderu, such as: " reader model " ) to use, which means that readers can also modeling for the magazine.
