Porte Saint-Denis

The Porte Saint- Denis is a monument in the form of a triumphal arch in Paris. The building was built by François Blondel in 1672 in the style of the Arch of Titus in honor of the French king Louis XIV, and is one of the most important monuments of art representative of the time dar. The arch of the Porte Saint- Denis served as a model for the far more famous Arc de Triomphe de l' Etoile, which was completed in 1836, as well as for 1909 in New York, completed in Manhattan Bridge
