Portenko's shrew

The Portenko - Rotzahnspitzmaus ( Sorex portenkoi ) is a species of the genus Rotzahnspitzmäuse. It belongs as well as the Eurasian mask Rotzahnspitzmaus to the Palaearctic species of this genus and is one of the few insectivores of Arctic fauna. Its distribution area is the northeastern tip of Siberia.
