The Portorož Airport (Slovenian: Aerodrome Portorož ) is a regional airport on the Adriatic coast in Slovenia. The airport is the home airport of Solinair.

Geographical Location

The airport is located near the village of saltpans in the municipality of Piran. Just one kilometer south the border runs to Croatia. The eponymous tourist resort Portorož is about 6 kilometers away. Are the Sečovlje Immediately adjacent to the airport.

Infrastructure

The airport is about two meters above sea level, the surface of the runway is 1200 x 30 meters ( in the direction of flight 15-33 ) and is equipped with lights for night landings. The airport has a modern technical equipment and offers flights to order ( Avio - taxi), business flights, panoramic flights, flight school, Parachuting, transfer by minibus, accommodation reservations, restaurant and car rentals.
