PostEurop

Posteurop is the union of 48 major European postal company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. PostEurope works in the Universal Postal Union with.

Posteurop was founded in 1993, since after the liberalization of the postal market, the interests of the postal service should be performed by a separate European Union, while the predecessor organization CEPT has been transformed into an organization of European regulatory authorities for the postal and telecommunications. While in 2008 still primarily the formerly state-owned postal companies are members, Posteurop strives to be at the industry association in Europe.

Since 1993, coordinated Posteurop the annual expenditure of the European brands, a task that has previously fulfilled the CEPT.

Members

Posteurop In 2008, 48 member companies from 46 countries. Bosnia - Herzegovina is represented by three companies of the Association (one each for the Muslim, Croatian and Serbian part). Germany is represented by the German Post AG, Switzerland by the Swiss Post and Austria by the Austrian Post AG
