Potros de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México

Potros de la UAEM is a Mexican football team of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México in Toluca, the capital of the State of México.

History

Already in the 1970s was a football team of the UAEM for a total of four years in the Segunda División second-rate at that time still represented. The then acting under the name Moscos de la UAEM team played there first from 1972 until their relegation in 1974 and returned by winning the Tercera División third-rate at that time still in the season 1974/75 direct to the Segunda División back. Because it's her but both of support from the home crowd, which the Diablos Rojos is clearly inclined, as was also lacking financial resources, the football team was withdrawn from the professional league.

In 1990, the University launched a new trial and reported the gambling business under the name Potros de la UAEM team in the meantime only Tercera División to fourth-rate.

Nine years later succeeded by a 3-2 win over the Huracanes de Tlapacoyan ( first leg 1-1) in front of 15,000 fans at the University Stadium Alberto Chivo Córdoba División, the rise in the now third-rate Segunda, in which the Potros have since represented.
