Považský Inovec

The Inowetz (rarely Freistädter Mountains, Slovak Považský Inovec ) is a 48 km long and 15 to 25 km wide mountain range in western Slovakia.

The mountain is part of the western course of the Carpathian arch, extending parallel to the south Hlohovecký to Považie north to south of Trenčín and is almost entirely forested. Its highest point is Inovec with 1041 meters of altitude.

An early bird Mountains ( Vtáčnik ) -attributable mountain range east of Zlaté Moravce with the Velky Inovec as the main mountain is now called Pohronský Inovec.
