Mountain Vtáčnik ( Hrádok )
The bird Mountains ( Slovak Vtáčnik ) is a mountain range in central Slovakia. It is part of the Slovak Central Mountains, which belongs to the Inner Western Carpathians.
It is bounded
- In the northwest and north by the Hornonitrianska kotlina ( "Upper Nitra boiler " ),
- ( Hills Kremnicke ) in the northeast of the Kremnitz mountains,
- In the east of the Žiarska kotlina ( " Žiarer boiler " ),
- In the southeast of the Selmec Bergen ( Štiavnica Hills )
- In the southwest of Bergland Pohronský Inovec and
- To the west by Tribetzgebirge ( Tribeč ).
The mountain is divided into four geomorphological subunits:
The highest peak is the 1346m high Vtáčnik (also Hrádok ).
