Povilas Lukšys

Povilas Lukšys (* July 7, 1979 ) is a Lithuanian football player, he plays on the position of a striker.

Career

In the club

Povilas Lukšys began his professional career in 1995 with JR Alsa Vilnius. After that, he played twelve years for Ekranas Panevezys. Lukšys won in 2005 with Ekranas Panevezys the Lithuanian Championship and took 1998 and 2000 the Lithuanian Cup. 2003, 2004 and 2006, he finished with Ekranas Panevezys the Lithuanian Championship on the second rank. In 2007 he moved for two years to Sūduva Marijampolė. In the first round of 2009/10 he played the Polish first division club Polonia Bytom in Poland. In January 2010 he returned to Sūduva Marijampolė. In December 2012, be changed again to Poland was announced. For the second half of 2012/13 changes Lukšys surprising to relegation-threatened third division Wigry Suwałki. For Wigry he scored in the 2012/2013 season in 15 league games 3 goals.
