Powder Keg: A Blast into the Wilderness

The station building

POWDERKEG in Silver Dollar City ( Branson, Missouri, United States) is a steel roller coaster in the manufacturer Premier Rides and S & S Power, which was opened as BuzzSaw Falls in 1999. Originally, it was a water roller coaster, which was built by Premier Rides and constructed by Stengel GmbH. Between 2003 and 2005, the orbit of S & S Power was rebuilt.

The ride is divided into two sections: First, the train is brought to a transfer rail for acceleration distance after leaving the station. Here the train is within 2.8 seconds from 0 to 85 km / h accelerated by compressed air. After a few hills and curves, the train reached the second section of the track. Here, the train is pulled up by a chain on the lift hill. There follows a steep descent and another curve before it reaches the final brakes.

POWDERKEG has three trains with four cars. In each car four people can (two rows of two people) take place. Passengers must be at least 1.07 m tall to ride allowed.
