Powidzko

Powidzko ( German Powitzko, 1937-1945: Oberurdorf ) is a village in the municipality Żmigród in powiat Trzebnicki the Polish Lower Silesian Voivodeship is located about five kilometers south-east of today's Żmigród and has about 200 inhabitants.

By 1945 German, the village lost its Slavic name in the course of Germanization of the Silesian place name in the time of National Socialism. For many centuries, the village belonged to the freight complex of domination Trachenberg, which was owned by the family Hatzfeldt since the 17th century.
