Poyrazköy

Poyraz is a village in the administrative district Beykoz the Turkish province of İstanbul. Poyraz had according to the last census, 904 inhabitants ( as of December 2010). Poyraz is located at the exit of the Bosphorus to the Black Sea, on the Asian side of the strait.

According to the Turkish government should stand here, the right side of the pier under construction third Bosphorus bridge, the Yavuz Sultan Selim bridge. The left-hand pillar is to stand on the European side in the village Garipce. The bridge should be completed by 2015.
