Praskovia Saltykova
Praskovja Saltykowa Fyodorovna (Russian Прасковья Федоровна Салтыкова; * October 12, 1664, † October 13, 1723 ) was the wife of Tsar Ivan V.
She was born as the daughter of Fyodor Petrovich Saltykov and his wife Anna Mikhailovna Tatitschewa.
On January 9, 1684 was married in Moscow with Tsar Ivan V.
The couple had five children:
- Maria ( born March 24, 1689 † February 14, 1692 )
- Feodosiya (* June 4, 1690, † May 12 1691 )
- Catherine Ivanovna (* October 29, 1691, † June 14, 1733 ) - married 1716 Charles - Leopold Duke of Mecklenburg, mother of Anna Leopoldovna
- Anna I. ( born January 28, 1693 † October 17, 1740 ) - married 1710 with Duke Friedrich Wilhelm of Courland († 1711), 1711-1730 Duchess of Courland, 1730-1740 Tsarina of Russia
- Praskovja (* September 24, 1694; † October 8, 1731 )
Zarin Praskovja was buried in the Alexander Nevsky Monastery in St. Petersburg.
