Prayuth Chan-ocha

General Prayuth Chan - ocha ( Thai พล เอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์ โอชา, pronunciation: [ pràʔjút t͡ɕanʔo ː t͡ɕ ʰ a ː ], also spelled Chan -o -cha, born March 21, 1954 in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, Northeastern Thailand ) is a Thai army officer. Since October 2010 he is commander in chief of the Thai army.

After graduating from the Chulachomklao Military Academy ( 23 year), he served in the 21st Infantry Regiment, of the bodyguard of the queen. Later he also visited the General Staff School and the University of National Defence.
