Prelude to Dune
The Desert Planet - The Early Chronicles ( engl: Prelude to Dune ) is a novel trilogy by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
After Frank Herbert, the creator and author of the Dune cycle, 1986 died suddenly, wrote his son Brian Herbert, Kevin J. Anderson, together with the first three books of the early chronicles, based on the estate of Frank Herbert. The three novels are about the childhood of Leto Atreides and the birth of his sons, Victor and Paul and play with it a few years before the plot of the first cycle Dune by Frank Herbert.
