Přemysl Bičovský

Přemysl Bičovský ( born August 18, 1950 in Košťany ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach.

Playing career

Bičovský played in his youth for Jiskra Košťany, aged 17, he moved to Sklo Union Teplice where he remained except for his military service at Dukla Prague until 1976. In 1973/74 he was top scorer with 17 goals. 1976 moved to Bohemians Prague Bičovský, with whom he won the 1983 championship. At 33, he was allowed to go to the West and played from 1983 to 1986 for the SC Eisenstadt. Then he ran for three seasons on for VfB Mödling. 1989 to 1993 he was a player coach at ASK Ybbs.

In the 1st Czechoslovak league Bičovský scored 106 goals.

For the Czechoslovakian national soccer team Bičovský made ​​45 games in which he scored eleven goals. He participated in the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

Coaching career

1993 Bičovský began as coach of the B team of FK Teplice and then took over the A- team. In 1998, he coached FC Chomutov and Lokomotíva Ceska Lipa. From 1999 to 2001 he worked again at FC Chomutov. 2001/ 02 took over the Bičovský SK Buldoci Karlovy Vary - Dvory, 2002/ 03 he coached the team from SIAD Braňany. 2003/ 04 he was the coach of FK SIAD Most B From 2004, he coached the A- team with which he ascended into the first league. In December 2005, he was dismissed for the season 2006 /07 he took over the team from the second division Chmel Blšany. After a difficult first round him and his team managed to avoid relegation.

From mid- 2007 to March 2008 coached the Czech Slovakian first division club MFK Ružomberok, in the 2008 /09 season he was a youth coach at fourth division side SK Roudnice. For the 2009/10 season Bičovský took over the second division FC Zenit Čáslav. Since July 2010 Bičovský is coach of the fifth-tier TJ Proboštov. In August 2012, the second division side FK Ústí nad Labem needed a new coach and brings Přemysl Bičovský back into the professional game.
