Prillimäe
Prillimäe is a village (Estonian alevik ) in the rural community Kohila in northern Estonia. It is located in the county Rapla, 22 kilometers from Rapla.
Description and History
Prillimäe has 375 inhabitants (as of 1 October 2008). The area of the village is 58 acres.
The village got its name from the eponymous farm ( Prillimäe talu ). 1937 was there an Estonian Centre for fur farming. It was especially known for the breeding of silver foxes and blue foxes. With the Soviet occupation of Estonia, the operation was expropriated and converted into state farms.
