The Prince Edward Air Ltd. was a Canadian airline based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Iceland. It dealt with a full charter, scheduled cargo services, air ambulance flights, aircraft maintenance, commercial and flight service.

History

Prince Edward Air was founded in 1990 for rescue flights, courier flights, scheduled passenger flights, and business and leisure charter flights. The company started with a leased aircraft and a pilot, the current president, Robert Bateman. Today the company has 15 aircraft and 90 employees. It provides various line services in eastern Canada.

1 May 2008 CargoJet Airways acquired 51 % of Prince Edward Airlines. On July 15, 2010 SkyLink Express took over the operational business of the flying Prince Edward Air and incorporated it into their business.
