Princess Louise Caroline of Hesse-Kassel
Princess Louise Caroline of Hesse -Kassel ( born September 28, 1789 in Gottorp, † March 13, 1867 in Ballenstedt ) was by marriage Duchess of Schleswig -Holstein -Sonderburg- Glücksburg.
Life
Luise Karoline was the youngest daughter of the Landgrave Charles of Hesse -Kassel and his wife Princess Louise, daughter of the Danish King Frederick V and his first wife Princess Louise, daughter of British King George II.
They married on January 26, 1810 Duke Friedrich Wilhelm of Schleswig -Holstein -Sonderburg- Glücksburg ( 1785-1831 ), only son of Duke Friedrich Karl von Schleswig- Holstein -Sonderburg- Beck and Countess Friederike Amalie of Schlieben. From their marriage ten children were born:
