Princess Princess (manga)

Princess Princess (Japaneseプリンセス·プリンセスPurinsesu Purinsesu ) is a manga series of the Japanese illustrator Mikiyo Tsuda. She is assigned to the shōjo genre and is an indirect sequel to Tsudas The Day of Revolution.

Action

Toru Kono replaced two months after the beginning of the school year at a boys' school. The local students have developed the tradition to honor the prettiest boy on school princess due to the lack of girls. Toru is selected unexpectedly to a princess, but asked in contrast to others, whether he wants to take on this role. After initial resistance, he agrees, as he could enjoy as "School Princess " high privileges.

Yujiro Shihodani is the " Ostprinzessin ". Mikoto Yutaka is the " Western princess ," but really wants nothing to do with it. Eastern and Western Princess are different names for the " school princesses " that divide the school into two camps. Some idolize the " Ostprinzessin ," the other the "West Princess ".

Princess Princess appeared in Japan from 2002 to 2006 in individual chapters in the manga magazine Dear , in the already well-known series such as RG Veda were published. In the spring of 2006, a 12 - episode anime series was based on the manga in Japanese TV Asahi.

The complete series was published in 2007 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland at Anime Anime Virtual Label in two Mediabooks with 2 DVDs. As of 2 September 2007, the series was broadcast in Germany on Animax.

Dorama

In the Summer 2006 season, a drama series has been launched on Japanese television, which also is based on the manga.

Background information

The figure Mikoto Yutaka is the friend of the main character in the second volume of The Day of Revolution. Also, the character Akira Sakamoto occurring plays a role in the single-band Family Complex.

Between Tsudas Princess Princess and Eiki Eikis Train Train recorded both mangaka and cross-over, Eiki Eiki first with Tore × Puri (トレ×プリ), which was reprinted in Princess Princess Volume 3, and then Tsuda mitPuri × goals in Train Train Volume 2.
