Princess (singer)

Desiree Heslop ( born November 27, 1961) is a British singer, who is best known for her hit Say I'm Your Number One under the stage name Princess.

Career

Her music career began Desiree Heslop in the 1970s with the band Osibisa. In addition, she worked with Mai Tai, Evelyn Thomas and Precious Wilson.

In 1985, did the partnership with the British production team Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Under the name Princess appeared in the summer of the same year, the single Say I'm Your Number One, which was sold over a million copies worldwide. In the spring of 1986, the album Princess, which also includes other Singles After The Love Has Gone, I'll Keep On Loving You, Tell Me Tomorrow and In The Heat Of A Passionate Moment appeared. The first three singles mentioned reached the UK's Top 40, but none of these singles could repeat the success of Say I'm Your Number One.

Princess then moved the producers. Their second album All For Love was produced by Richard James Burgess, among others, and appeared in 1987. Their last chart listing she had in mid-1987 with the single red hot.

From 1991 to 2003 she lived in the U.S., but returned in 2003 returned to England. In the British TV show Hit Me Baby One More Time in 2005, she had once again play a major gig with her biggest hit as well as a cover version of Kylie Minogue's hit Slow
