Life

Mónica Cruz Capel was born into a family of musicians. As a child, she recorded an album, which contained Christmas songs. She is best known as the voice of Spanish versions of songs from the Disney television series.

Princessa (1993 )

In 1991 she discovered the German producer Frank Peterson on Spanish television, but two years later they recorded their first album. Peterson gave her the stage name Princessa. His then wife Susana Espelleta wrote all the lyrics on the album, which were held exclusively in Spanish.

Calling You (1996 )

In order to reach international buyers, Princessa began in 1996 for the first time also in English songs. However, since we did not want to jeopardize the success of the Spanish-speaking market, six of the songs were also sung in Spanish and pressed on the CD.
