Princeton University Press

Princeton University Press is an independent publisher with the head office in the city of Princeton, New Jersey, and with close ties to Princeton University. The publishing house that was founded in 1905 has, for his publications in scientific circles a very high reputation.

Unlike most American university presses neither financial support, the Princeton University Press obtained by the university, yet it is in their possession. Originally founded as a private company, the publisher in 1910, a non -profit company - a Nonprofit Corporation - transferred.

Six books of the publishing previously won a Pulitzer Prize. Among the most famous publications include the Smyth Report of 1945, and the publications of Albert Einstein by the long years of publishing editor and editor Alice Calaprice.
