Private Pluto

Private Pluto is an animated short film by the Walt Disney Company. He was born 1943. In this cartoon Pluto is in the U.S. Army and is angered by two chipmunks.

This is also the first appearance of the ( at the time still nameless ) chipmunks Ahörnchen and authorities starlet.

Action

Pluto is ordered by his superiors to guarding a bunker, as saboteurs are in the area. This bunker is also used by two chipmunks as a warehouse for their nuts, the gun tube use them as Nutcracker. Pluto first tries in vain to sell the chipmunks. When it succeeds Pluto to steal their nuts, they shoot him in the air and use its impact, the hard nuts to crack. The two rodents then close the bunker and let Pluto back angrily.
