Procol Harum

Mick Grabham ( born January 22, 1948 in Sunderland, England ) is a British rock and blues guitarist.

Life and career

Grabham played ( under the pseudonym Mike Graham) from 1968 to 1969 in the pop band Plastic Penny, who landed several hits in the UK.

In 1969, he founded the band Cochise, rock music with bonds of country and hard rock played and released three albums from 1970 to 1972.

In 1972 he took a solo album titled Mick the Lad.

From 1973 to 1977 Grabham was a guitarist in the band Procol Harum, where he indirectly Robin Trower replaced and its blues - rock sound complemented by loans from country and folk. Overall, he played with Procol Harum, a four studio albums and left the band shortly before their planned resolution.

In 1975 he worked together with the Procol Harum drummer BJ Wilson, with the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack.

1979 Grabham played in the band Bandit and played on the album Partners in Crime. It occurs to this day only sporadically, for example, on some of Procol Harum Reunions and appearances in the R & B trio Los Amigos.
