Proof of Life (The Bill)

Abduction in London ( Original Title: Proof of Life ) is a British- German crossover film between the German crime series SOKO Leipzig and the British crime series The Bill.

Action

In London, the goddaughter of Leipzig's main commissioner " Hajo " Trautschke is kidnapped. He flies naturally there immediately. His colleague Ina accompanied him, but in London they only hinder the work of the British police. The kidnapped girl is in the hands of undercover police officers from the British police. With the release of the girl on the Piccadilly Circus everything goes wrong and they fall into the hands of a new gangster. Terry, the undercover police officer can, win the trust of the new Gangsters and remains at the girl. The whole kidnapping is now moved to Germany. Also Jan identified as an undercover cop instead of a gangster new member. The police found out also that the abductor was formerly with the Stasi and knows the girl's father. This has given the kidnapping in order, but wants his daughter back also. Therefore, he says, where the girl is, and the police can release it. Then the two teams and the British team adopt flies back to London.

Background

The shooting took place in 2008. Since the original language is English, the German actor had to speak English and later synchronize itself. Both the German and the British producer created for their country 's own versions of the film. The English ran with the intro of The Bill. For the German version of its own, which differs from the intro of the series SOKO Leipzig Intro was made.

The first broadcast took place on 12 November 2008 at the British television ITV, the result was in Germany for the first time on September 4, 2009 at ZDF.
