Protein Data Bank

Protein Data Bank (PDB ) is a database for 3-D data structure of proteins and nucleic acids. The structural data were usually obtained by crystal structure analysis and NMR spectroscopy. It is the central database for all biological structure data and freely accessible. The history of the PDB began in the early 1970s.
