The Hemispherical Stropharia ( Stropharia semiglobata ) is a species of fungus in the genus of Träuschlinge ( Stropharia ).

Features

The Hemispherical Stropharia forms fruiting bodies with hemispherical, becoming flat in age, 1-4 cm wide hats whose top is colored lemon to ocher- yellow, with pale ocher-colored vertices. The hat surface is wet greasy - sticky, dry silky shiny. The stalk is 5-10 cm long and 2.5-5 mm thick, it is rigid, hollow and brittle. Above the ring of the handle is cream to pale ocher and smooth, below the ring fine light brown faserschuppig with a cream background. The wide slats are whitish young, by the spore powder they turn gray with bluish -violet tone in old specimens dark brown with a burgundy tone. The variety is more vigorous with stercoraria always clear ring and often flaky genattertem stem.

Ecology

The Hemispherical Stropharia is a saprobiontischer bottom dwellers, which occurs in meadows, pasturelands, kick lawns, along roadsides, in gardens and parks, and similar grassy places. The species prefers nutrient- rich sites, it often grows near or on horse manure, cow dung and manure of other animals. The fruiting bodies appear in Central Europe from early summer to autumn.

Dissemination

The Hemispherical Stropharia occurs in North America, Siberia, China and Kamchatka, the Canary Islands and Europe. In Australia and South America, he is introduced. In Europe the kind of southern and south-eastern Europe north to Scandinavia, Iceland and the Faroe Islands found east it comes to Estonia and Belarus before.
